Ghanaian actress, Kafui Danku, has offered an unreserved apology to producer, Leila Djansi after she viciously accused the filmmaker of spreading rumors about her.

Kafiu Danku earlier abused Leila, on her Facebook page, of speaking ill of her for refusing to give her money for the care of a little girl called Baby Doris, who had issues with her eyesight and needed urgent funds for surgery.

Kafiu initially wrote:

“Leila Leila Afua Djansi,

I know you’ll see this faster than my missed call .I’m someone who doesn’t listen to people when they warn me to be careful of a particular person; NO, I don’t listen but I’m posting here to confirm to them they’re right since I’m too embarrassed to tell them personally, I might as well make the whole community aware that you’re DANGEROUS!I will be blunt :

You asked me for support to help Doris which I obliged .You later came back to ask me for thousands of dollars which I didn’t give you so you went round telling people stupid and childish lies…

I want them to know that your stupid blabbing is all about the fact that I didn’t give you what you asked for ."If anybody has warned you to be careful of Leila Djansi, believe them!"

Leila immediately tendered her own side of the story in a full interview while speaking with Ameyaw Debrah, she explained that the situation was not what it looked like and most of the things Kafui had heard was wrong. She gave evidence to show that she has done nothing negative in regards to Kafui's image.

Reacting to the news, Kafui immediately begged for forgiveness after realizing the error in her words upon listening to Leila's side of the story. She has now taken to her same Facebook page to offer an apology.

"I lack words to express how I feel about what my earlier post has generated, The only remorse I have now is posting on social media…. just because my first call wasn’t answered. I should have kept calling, the post was unnecessary. I never thought my emotions could control me to taking such action, to those who called and sent messages, thank you for your concern. I regret posting on social media and this would not happen again."

"I will make efforts to resolve the differences… I would appreciate people who shared to kindly delete or take down the post since it was as a result of anger. I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I APOLOGIZE." She wrote.
