Jordan Henderson will be assessed by Liverpool after an injury scare on Sunday night whiles on International duty.

The Reds captain did not continue the second half of the Three Lions Nations League fixture with Belgium following a 2-0 lead in the first half by Youri Tielemans and Driers Mertens, which became the final scoreline.

Reports of a back problem was speculated to have been the cause of the player’s withdrawal but the fears have eased after the player was made available to Liverpool.

Injuries have been a major challenge to the Reds title defence this season seeing numerous key players affected – Virgil van Dijk, Oxlade Chamberlain, Joe Gomez and Alexander Arnold.  Mohamed Salah reported by the EFA to have contracted COVID-19 whiles on international duty.
