The Management of Jofel Catering Services Limited on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 provided 400 lunch packs to front line staff of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital as its contribution to the fight against the Covid -19 pandemic in the country.

Mr. Emmanuel Takyi, Accountant for the company said as a leading catering firm in Ghana, Management thought it wise to provide lunch for the hospital's front line staff in appreciation for their sacrifices in the management of Covid-19 cases at the hospital.

Prof. Baafuor Kofi Opoku, Medical Director of KATH who received the donation on behalf of the hospital thanked the company for its kind donation.

He said the hospital had to spend huge sums of money daily to buy meals and water for them.

"it is therefore welcoming that Jofel Catering Limited has been generous to bring lunch to such staff members".

He further revealed that the handling of Covid -19 cases are very involving which sometimes hinders the staff from leaving their duty post during their 12 hour shifts.

He said the meals will not only help to motivate the staff to continue to give off their best but also save the hospital some money.
