Liverpool’s captain, Jordan Henderson says he deliberates less on the number of times he has featured for the Reds, as he is much concerned about succeeding games, which determines the stance of the club.

Jordan has reached a landmark of 250 league games for the club, a feat only achieved by Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia, Pepe Reina and Robbie Fowler.

“Of course, I am very proud of playing for Liverpool that many times. But is it something I think about now? Not really, if I am honest," he tells Liverpoolfc.com during an exclusive chat.

“It definitely has been eventful," Henderson says. "Overall though, it’s been an amazing journey so far, one that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I think everyone would appreciate that no matter what – through the good and the bad times since I’ve been here – I’ve always given everything for the team, for the club.

"And that’s what I will continue to do, it’s the most important thing; continue to work every day for the team, the club, the fans, for everyone.”
