The Republic of Ireland have reported of no further coronavirus cases after second tests, talkSPORTS revealed.

The team will play Bulgaria in Dublin on Wednesday and per a statement released by the Association on Monday, Matt Doherty of Spurs and Stoke City's James McClean tested positive for coronavirus after their 1-0 defeat to Wales on Sunday.

The Football Association have however revealed in a statement on Tuesday that a second COVID-19 test conducted on all players and staff have come out negative.

“[We] can confirm that all players & staff tested negative for Covid-19 ahead of the match against Bulgaria,” the statement said.

“The round of testing took place yesterday on arrival back into Dublin ahead of the fixture on Wednesday, November 18.”
