Braithwaite has informed Danish public TV that he is not worried about Suarez`s return or possible signings and have not yet shown what he can do.

The Barcelona striker on Monday said that the club has sent its players during the confinement is only part of its preparation and will again be willing to gain a headline.

“(Barça's plan) is only one third of my training, because I have added much more to it. I exercise my speed and my endurance. Now I train much more in detail than before, so I will return in much better physical form,” the player said in statements to Danish public television (DR).

Braithwaite arrived from Leganes outside the last winter market to supply the injured Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele, returned before the confinement to Madrid with his family, since he had no home in Barcelona.

The Danish international trains at the gym he has in his basement and does a race and exercise with ball in the garden, as well as spending a lot of time on visualizing how he wants things to turn out.

When asked about his training at home, he said: “I have to be a starter and a scorer. When you play for Barcelona, you have so many opportunities, so there's no doubt that I see myself scoring many goals and as one of the team and league scorers. That's what I'm here for”.

Braithwaite, who has only been able to play three blaugrana games, reiterated his confidence that hard work pays off and that since he is now working more than ever. “I will have a huge reward,” he predicted.

“Now there is a pause, I see it as an advantage. I know there's no one who trains and works like me. When I get back I'll be ready physically and mentally,” he said.

The possible return of Luis Suárez after his injury or hypothetical new signings are not a problem, on the contrary, Braithwaite calls him “fantastic”, as he believes the competition will do better.

“I haven't shown what I can do yet. I feel like I've done well, but I know I can do it even better,” said the 28-year-old player.
