Along the line of the interview, the Ghanaian singer denied her relationship with Chirst and informed that its a myth.

Belinda Nana Akua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has said she bleached her skin many years ago because she felt that she was ugly at the time. 

She further said that she thought the colour black, symbolized dirt therefor in order to avoid been filthy, she decided to lighten her skin with various bleaching techniques but after realizing the error she made, caution has been attached as she embraces her colour proudly today.

The Hiplife artist further stated that she is over the self-colour attitude but now feels the power behind a black woman.
“I used to think I was ugly. I thought being black is dirty, so I took to skin bleaching and suffered horrible side effects years later,” Mzbel disclosed.

“But that is the result of self-hate. I shared my story and got help, now I’ve learned to say: ‘You know what? I am a beautiful black woman. FanteKrobo, 100% Ghanaian ???????? #Goddess #IndependentWoman #EkuaBentuma".

The singer was on ‘Restoration with Stacy’, where she made another declaration that left the host flabbergasted. According to her, she does not believe in the man mooted to be the founder of Christianity, as according to her research he might have been made up.

In response to ‘do you believe in Jesus Christ?’ she responded…“I don’t want to step on the toe of anybody. I used to believe in it but I did my own research and I think it was made up,” she spoke.

“I might be wrong. The same story 5,000 years ago happened in Egypt,” she added.
