Hip pop/Afrobeat artiste, DBlack has revealed in a recent interview that, one must be discipline to be able to achieve his goals and objectives.

The Music Business Entrepreneur, told the host actress Kisa Gbekle, on GHOne few days ago that it’s always good to save when one starts making money revealing that he has been investing 70-80% of the money he made as a musician to an event and advertising company.

DBlack admitted that man is obliged to chill, buy cars, flashy stuffs yet one must make sure he or she has saved enough to sponsor hsi basic needs.

“You have to be disciplined to be able to achieve your dreams. When I make money, I don’t blow it. I always invest about 70 or 80 per cent of the money I make. So let me give a brief on how I started. I took the money I made as a musician when I started and invested it into an event and advertising company”

“So I started shooting commercials, started doing concerts and shows. The money I made from there, I invested it into building a night club, the money I made from the club after a year, I invested it in a lounge; Oasis. The money I made from oasis after a year, I started a record label with that. So I have planned and try to stick to it.”

Desmond Kwesi Blackmore added though he makes enough money for himself yet he doesn’t spendthrift as certain artistes who are mostly seen traveling around, buying designer cloths and cars due to the uncertainty of tommorrow.

“Everybody wants to have money and go blow it. You know; go to Dubai, America and go and chill, buy cars and designer clothes. I hardly buy designer clothes and I have never owned more than three cares in my life.”
