Unai Emery says his Arsenal side did not deserve to lose at the Bremall Lane against Sheffield United yesterday after squandering most of the better opportunities that came their way on the night.

Mousset scored a 30-minute goal following an Oliver Norwood's deep cross which was headed back across goal by Jack O'Connell. Lys Mousset lost Granit Xhaka to tap home from underneath the bar to make the night an adorable one for fans who roared behind their team from beginning to end.

"I feel we didn't deserve to lose. We conceded a lot of corners in the first half, and they scored their goal in one of these actions. But above all, we conceded that corner too easily.

"From an offensive point of view, we created more chances than them. The first chance for Pepe was very clear and I feel we didn't deserve to lose.

Arsenal controlled much of the game and were the better side to take the lead in the first half. Nicolas Pepe was instrumental yet he failed to convert a gilt-edged chance at 0-0.

He was denied again by Henderson through a free kick with not enough power on the ball.

Kolasinac sin the 89-minute found Aubameyang in the box, and allowed the ball to run through to Chambers but he couldn’t direct the ball towards goal as it deflected out for a corner.

Arsenal recorded 86 per cent possession in the last 10 minutes but they just could not do enough to win the game. Dean Henderson has kept 25 clean sheets in the league since the start of last season; more than any other goalkeeper in England's top four tiers, an impressive defensive record for the Blades to boast of.
