Ghanaian comedian, Ajeezay has said that he cannot force people to laugh at his jokes.

The comedian, in an exclusive interview, explained that no matter how funny a joke is, some people will choose not to laugh at it. He mentioned that whether or not a person laughs at his jokes is by his/her own choice, and he'll not do anything to take away that choice from his audience.

“Every comedian once in a while experience a bad day where things don’t seem to click."

"But when I’m in my element and things seem to be going according to plan then obviously you find a lot of people laughing at the auditorium."

“However, when I realize that some few people are not laughing I don’t really care about it. Because if the majority are happy with the jokes and you alone refuse to laugh I can’t kill myself."

“In fact, there’s nothing I can do. I have done my part maybe your problem is bigger than my jokes.” he told Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central in Cape Coast.

It would be recalled that Ajeezay lamented in the fact that Ghanaians don't take comedians seriously in Ghana.

Although Ghana has 17 prominent comedians with others coming in through the system, the likes of Clemento Suarez, Funny Face, DKB amongst others lifting Ghana's flag high. These comedians have to provide running entertainment to their fans by making jokes out of everything, including their very own lives.

This was the rationale behind Ajeezay's claim, as he lamented that nobody takes him serious because they feel his life is a joke.

Now he has said that he won't stress himself over anyone with respect to his jokes.
