It was reported Monday, October 12, 2020, by various media outlets that Dennis Cobblah a.k.a Swallow had gone missing after visiting the Sandbox beach at Labadi with his friends for a video shoot.

Swallow himself and Scribe Communications have come out to describe the turn of events as a prank. They claimed that the actor never went missing.

They made this known statement signed by Otabil Arthur, Production Manager of Scribe Communications on Friday, October 16, 2020.

“Fortunately, our brother was said to have been found on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, with unclear details. However, in trying to find out how exactly he got lost and found, we discovered inconsistent stories from his close aides and the supposed victim himself.

“To cut a long story short, he never went missing,” parts of the statement read.

Swallow himself took to his Twitter page to apologise to his fans for any inconvenience he might have caused them over his costly prank.

He uploaded a thread describing the turn of events and how he never meant to hurt anyone with his little joke.

"I will first like to apologise to the entire country for causing fear and panic little did I know my action of taking time off to myself and not telling my friends where I was going would generate a lot of false stories such as "My friends wanting to harm me" amongst others."

"I want to say I am deeply sorry to all who have been affected by this, it was never my intention to cause this much fears, but I pray the love shown me when I was away, upon that same love I ask you all to forgive me and debunk all the false stories about my friends,"

"These are good people who don't deserve any of this and to that effect, I will be calling them to ask for their forgiveness. If there is anything I have learnt is that true love do exist and where there is love, there we will always dwell."

"Once again I am sorry for putting you all through this, I am alive well and kicking no one is out there to harm me and I am still on the journey of finding myself hence I pray thee you all grant me that needed privacy. Thank you. Dennis Cobblah (Swallow)" he tweeted.
