Ghanaian gospel artiste, Diana Asamoah, has divulged that she almost whacked a woman with her bible for spewing fake prophecies about her.

According to her, the woman came all the way from Accra to tell her that God had directed her to initiate marriage between her own pastor back in Accra. Diana recalled that she was so angry at the woman's claim that she almost slapped her with the bible to get her to confess that she was telling lies.

The musician narrated the story in an interview on Okay Fm’s “Best Entertainment” show, as she used the experience to claim that most pastors in Ghana are fake like the woman and are responsible for the downfall of many gospel artistes, one such as the lovely artiste, Joyce Blessing.

”Most men of God in Ghana are liars and they have ruined the lives of gospel musicians in Ghana. Look at what happened to Joyce Blessing. I will be rude to you if I feel you are telling me lies. If not for the Grace of God, I would have ended up like her.” she said

When she made the statement of hitting the woman with the bible, Halifax, the host of the show confronted her on why she would do such with the words of God. Diana Asamoah, in her defense, explained that she was desperate not to become a victim of fraud.

”Most female gospel musicians mistakenly think they must marry a pastor to make themselves feel good. The fact that he is roaming about preaching the word of God doesn’t qualify him to be a pastor”.she concluded.
