Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp has been voted as the BEST FIFA Men’s Coach of the season.

The All English coaches’ category was challenged by Pep Guardiola of Manchester City and Spurs Mauricio Pochettino.

Jurgen Klopp after losing out the UEFA Champions League trophy to Madrid in Kiev in 2018 managed his Liverpool side in another successive final in Madrid.

Liverpool magnificently overturned a 3-0 deficit against Barcelona in the semifinal to reach the finals by scoring four goals past Ter Stegen at Anfield.

They won the UEFA Champions League title in the All-English affair against Spurs at the Wanda Metropolitano in the capital of Spain.

The German also guided Liverpool to second in the premier League with a remarkable 97 points, a single point behind winners, Manchester City. Under Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool lost once in the entire season; an outstanding display to be remembered in the history of the competition.

“Mauricio – we won that game, that’s why I’m here, not you. That’s how football is, but we all know what an incredible job you did, what an incredible job Pep did, what so many coaches out there did," he said.

“I have to say thank you to my outstanding club Liverpool FC, to the owners, I have to say they gave me an incredible team, and I have to thank my team, because as a coach you only can be as good as your team is"

“I’m really proud of being the manager of such an incredible bunch of players.”

Klopp announced at the ceremony that he has signed up to the Common Goal movement; an association where members donate one per cent of their salary to a charity which funds organizations around the world that use football to tackle social issues.

“I’m really proud and happy that I can announce that from today on I am a member of the Common Goal family.”

“He who doesn’t love Liverpool has no heart” he jokingly ended.
