Chelsea's pursuit for Kai Havertz is nearing to the peak.

The English club is preparing the £90m asking price offer for the attacking midfielder this week, according to the Guardian.

The Blues would have that chapter closed this week as the 21-year-old is expected to be at Stamford Bridge to sign a five-year deal.

Bayern Leverkusen's deadline for Havertz’s is scheduled on August 28 and Frank Lampard does not want to miss the transfer of the German, having identified his abilities to solve the puzzle as he sketches a strong Chelsea side ahead of the League and European games.
