Pep Guardiola has spotted Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish as Leroy Sane’s replacement according to the Daily Telegraph.

Sane rejected a new contract extension to stay at the Etihad with reports linking him to the German Bundesliga to play for Champions, Bayern Munich.

With Aston Villa battling relegation, Pep Guardiola has identified Jack Grealish as a potent asset who can help City reclaim the league title from Liverpool next season.

He is a long admirer of the 24-year old English international after several positive comments concerning the Aston Villa captain.

Guardiola in 2019 hailed Grealish as an ‘incredible’ talent following Manchester City’s ultimately comfortable 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

‘He’s incredible,’ said Guardiola. ‘A top player. I’m happy he (initially) stayed in the Championship to defend his club. ‘He’s a talented player who always creates something. An exceptional player but too expensive for Manchester!’

He also defined him as 'exceptional' ahead of Manchester City's clash with Villa in a press conference.
