Veteran gospel singer and dancer, prophet Seth Frimpong popularly known as the Dancing Prophet has just been confirmed dead on Friday, the 24th of April by close relatives after what is believed to have been a short illness. 

The widely known Gospel musician was said to have been battling diabetes, the disease which cause him to withdraw from the public scene after trying to bounce back some years ago. Before his reported death he was recorded lamenting on the fact that although he helped a lot of people to succeed, no one had been there for him in his own time of need. 

His last interview was on Abusua FM where he revealed how he was struggling in life and the neglect from his colleagues in the industry, except Bro. Sammy who paid him a visit occasionally.

"By the grace of God, I have been able to groom a lot of pastors and gospel musicians like Brother Sammy, Christiana Love and a host of others yet none of them has paid attention to me”.

“It is only Brother Sammy who has been able to pay me a couple of visits…even yesterday Sunday, he was here and I am reliably informed some people had to speak to him before he thought of visiting me,” he had said

He indicated that even his wife who agreed to the marriage vows which says “for better for worse” has left him to his fate because of his sickness.

Prophet Seth Frimpong is popularly known for hit songs like ‘This is just the beginning’ ‘Nyame Anuonyam’ and many others was missing in the music scene until news broke about him in 2017 that he was bedridden.
