GoGrace: Marriage - More than Just A Sexual Union?

The man came from God to earth, and the woman, from man on earth. The extraction of man by God was to make happen a mission of God on earth whiles the abstraction of the woman from man was to fulfil man’s task on earth.

God is counting on the man and the man is counting on the woman. How? In order for the fulfilment of that task? Therefore, man (image and likeness) is the representation of God on earth, not just a rep but the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. This is indeed what man is defined through Christ Jesus in Hebrews 1:3

 The woman is the demonstrative Glory of man on earth.

What task? Is it procreation, taking care of the earth or just sexual errands? We will get to that.

 

 

God indeed could have filled the earth with other species, yes. It is possible but he created man to cope with the task. In order for a successful mission, He joined Himself to man. He attached (married) man by breathing HIS Life (a part of His very Existence) in order to make us like Him and do things like Him.

We then became His helpers. Helpers? In what sense? In the sense that He is in charge of the entire Creation and His Sovereignty needs no questioning yet He brought us into the picture to fulfil and replenish the earth. Is this a job too hard for God to do? He could at the snap of a finger yet He made us. Though He is our Father, it’s more than a Father and Son relationship. Much colourful when the picture is painted. We are partners in Creation and Heirs with Him.

Rom 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

This explains that Man cannot do away with God for a second and the Perfect God do not and will not do away with man. Because we are His very Image. Destroying us as a result of sin is like destroying His integrity hence the need for the sacrifice on the cross to preserve that.

Does it mean He won’t destroy sinful men on the last day? Haha. Sinful men have chosen their destination therefore to think about an apostate person, is to think about the Devil at work in a willful man. I am not talking about such. My words are directed to you, man, the Image and Glory of God.

We are the Church, that is the Bride and God (Jesus Christ) is our husband. The relationship is not just papa and mama. It is LOVE brewed in GRACE. The perfect marriage.

 

 

Why the woman?

Multimillion question. If God needed to create man to complete His mission on planet Earth, then Man also needed to create a partner to realise his potential and satisfy his course. In order to make the puzzle complete. God for man and Man for Woman.

The only way for the job to be complete to fulfil God’s will was on two folds. Man is the mediator He is to receive from God and Give unto the Woman. Remember that, the woman is like the man’s switch. The more she receives nurtured and sanctified elements, the more she submits, the more she submits, the more powerful she glows to lighten the path of man to finish the task.

When the man receives and does not pass on to the woman, it makes her vulnerable to be induced. The moment she is tempted, there is an 80 per cent chance of falling because what fills her isolation i.e. Love has been denied.

Denying your wife Love is denying oneself the power to carry on. So this was the responsibility of the man towards God and the woman.

• Man must submit to God in order for the Woman to submit to man.
• Man must recognise God as the Head in order for the Woman to duly respect Man as her head.
• Man must follow God for the Woman to follow man.
• God must Love in order for an extension to help the Man love the woman.
• Man must position himself for God to present Him as a glorious church through the unblemished Glory of the woman that guided him to function effectively.
• Man must be sanctified and washed in order to sanctify His Wife by His testimony (Word)
• Man must have the knowledge of God’s love in order to be able to love the Woman as Himself

 

When God was revealing this mystery to man on the reason for creating the woman as his ideal partner, he expected men to do unto the woman what he does unto them. God took that journey through space to earth as a flesh just to give a second lecture on the significance of marriage in fulfilling His task.

The Son left His Father to join the Church (Man) and update Him on what marriage between God and Man directly affects the partnership of the Man and Woman. Doing away with the other is subject to failure.

 

Eph 5:31- “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”

 

God encoded the Word of Christ and the Church to be decoded. In the first place, he never said the man could not unlock it. He gave it up for grabs to them that call upon His Spirit to guide them in the decoding process.

I am not against those who think marriage; I mean the original union ordained by God between a man and woman is just about procreation. It goes beyond that if you understand the role of the woman. The Devil is attacking the union because if men should compare the beauty of their relationship with God to treat their wives, there would be no way the enemy could gain grounds to operate. The 7 billion people on planet earth are intertwined because of the defining characteristics of the family, which is derived from the first Marriage.

 

A believer who has a genuine relationship with God has a genuine relationship with his wife.

 

You can judge a man’s broken relationship with God when his relationship with his wife is on rocks.

Sometimes they might pretend when outside to make it look perfect especially when eaten by fame, it happens today but just holds on for a while, the truth will unfold after one starts to corrode.
