GoGrace: Boldly Discern To Know The Spirit Behind The Working
Discernment is not judgement

Christianity without discernment will be a society with a bunch of magicians at work trying to please the devil and misdirecting the power of Jesus.

When men begin to hide on top of the truth to expose their works unto the people, they put God’s word in disrepute forgetting how the disciples and Old Testament prophets contended for the perfect Gospel of Grace. Grace is the Gospel, nothing farther from the Truth but it takes the wise to receive understanding of this Good News.

The Grace of God is not just like abiding in any knowledge where you speak according to what you see. It deals with constant revelation of the Son of God to overcome situations. Someone’s situation is different from another, therefore given both one pill to share is catastrophic. Grace guides you on how to attend to each with different solutions from a single source; Jesus Christ. Grace is what gives us eye to see the unseen.

Certain men have entered Christianity in masquerades teaching falsely about the implementations of Jesus through which the Holy Spirit’s executions are based. They are wolves in sheeps skin deceiving the congregation with a different Gospel of the “thou shalt not judge” phrase. Walk out today and ask 10 believers of a ‘man of God’ acts and few will be able to tell you as to whether the act is good or bad. The others will fall out with the statement, “thou shalt not judge’ or ‘I’m not in a position to judge’ his works. We easily misquote scriptures to surround and justify our evil ways forgetting that we will not escape the great judgment of God when we neglect so great a Salvation.

(Heb: 2:2 for since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?)

EMPHASIS

Luke 6:37 - “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

The word ‘judge’ is a verb of the Greek accent, ‘krino’ which means to pronounce a sentence, separate or put asunder. How does this word affect Christian ruling?

Whenever a believer is condemned with his fate predestined due to an error, because words are powerful and can sometimes frustrate one to lose faith in Christ, the Bible advise us not to put up such acts towards the world or the church.

The issue of pre-destinating someone’s evil intent is like hanging yourself in God’s seat of judgment, which is not our duty. Why? Because circumstances sometimes forces people into situations hence the establishment of the church. It is the duty of the church to come together, comfort, console, and snatch such from the fire. However, when the church begin to condemn people because of their error and put them in open shame, it’s just like telling God, that if you cannot judge them, I, the sinner is in the best position to.

The Greek word “krino” can also be found in “diakrino” meaning to doubt.

(Mark 11”23- Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt (diakrino) in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Diakrino works when the Word of God is ceased from working in your life through by not believing.

The symptom is caused by the devil called in Greek as “Diabolos” another repetition of the word “dia.”

How do these words work together?

Whenever there is doubt in the life of one filled with the Spirit concerning a fellow brother or sister, their actions become questionable yet Jesus never taught the believer to directly cast judgment or condemn. To condemn is to hurl judgement and to hurl judgment is to condemn. That is not our position to do so.

Doubts gives us clue when a believer is trafficking iniquity in secret. When pretense begin to rule in the life of an acclaimed Christian, he grieves the Spirit therefore, in the assembly of the saints, the Lord gives a sign to either a member of the body of Christ to sometimes question why his fellow is not functioning as effective as he needs to. We doubt people not because they are evil, but to alert them to refrain from their doings. Therefore, ‘diakrino’ (doubt) is not ‘krino’ (judge).

Experiencing doubt of a spirit at work in a man is called Diakrisis whiles doubting the Word of God from a man is diakrino. Note that not all doubts in the Bible means diakrino. Due to language renditions, certain words are defined doubts in English but the Greek version is different although a bit related to the word.

DIAKRISIS

Diakrisis is a Greek word, which means ‘discern’.

To discern means distinguish or pick out. It is best used for recognizing, testing and distinguishing things.

Diakrisis is defined in 1 Corinthians 12:10, -To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

Discernment of spirits is a gift of the Holy Spirit to assess spirits.

1 John 4:1 - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Remember, our mandate is to test every spirit, not the man. Because the Supreme Spirit is in us, it is our duty as believers to identify demons at work in men feeding the people with erroneous doctrines and publicly declaring to the house of faith not to associate with such.

It is the mandate of the believer to barricade Christians with caution on someone teaching contrary to what Jesus taught the Church.

It is our mandate as believers to protect the flock from feeding from another Gospel. A so-called Gospel that will bewitch them with worldly gains.

Discernment is done in the Holy Ghost therefore by their works we know them. We attack not the personalities but by their works, they are made known. Do not publicly attack a false prophet for his works, rather attack the flock of Jesus with caution to quit feeding from such.

‘Diakrisis’ is not ‘krino’. Discernment is not judgment. Discernment is given to church to explain what is good and identify sin as sin. It is the act of operating in the Eagle’s Eye of the Spirit; you see what they do not see. It is not about condemnation, it is about preserving God’s church for the Rapture.

A DISCERNING Church is always cautious of sin and frowns at it. A believer who hangs between two opposite things (sin and righteousness) is demarcated with a hypocritical tag and Jesus will treat such as Lukewarm. Rev 3:15 ‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot!

Bodly discern and warn the believers to refrain from people preaching the false news. That is your mandate as a believer. Consider their path and draw the line. Jesus is coming soon dear.
