It was reported on Friday, June 12, 2020, that Ghanaian tv personalities, Gloria Sarfo and Dada Boat were set to tie the knot later this year.

Gloria Sarfo took to her Instagram page to announce that she is soon to be joined to Mikki Osei Berko who is popularly known as Dada Boat. She uploaded photos on her page with loved up captions, Dada Boat also seemingly corroborated her story by uploading the same image on his Instagram page with a loved up caption of his own.

Upon closer investigation, it has been revealed that the two actors may have intentionally deceived the general public to gain attention for their upcoming movie. Meaning that the photos they both posted were just the poster pictures of their upcoming collaboration and not their pre-wedding photo pictures.

The evidence was provided by their colleagues who cleverly pointed out that the photos and captions were for a new movie about to be premiered. If what their colleagues are saying is true, then Ghanaians should not be surprised as this is not the first time that movie stars have pulled stunts like this to gain attention for their upcoming projects.

On closer inspection, the two celebrities never said specifically that "they wanted to get married" they just released loved up images of themselves, and the media assumed so.

Therefore they cannot be faulted for trying their best to garner attention.

All that can be said is that they played their cards right.
