Ghanaian celebs in two camps over Obour loss
Obour

Obour, former President of the Musicians’ Union of Ghana, (MUSIGA), lost his dream bid for a ticket at the New Patriotic Party’s Primaries held on Saturday, June 21.

While some celebrities have gathered round Obour to comfort him for his recent loss to the incumbent MP, Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng in the primaries, others have been celebrating.

Just like most Ghanaians are divided on the matter, the celebrity camp for Obour has consoled him on hs travails, asking him not to give up as there are better days ahead. While the camp against has declared that the loss is even less than all he deserves after the way he conducted himself when he was the President of the Musician's Union.

Kumawood actor, Lilwin sent an inspirational message to the politician, asking him not to give up as the 2024 elections are still ahead.

Medikal also congratulated Obour, saying that he still remains a king despite his loss and nothing will change his status. "Congrats King! You'll always be a winner regardless". Medikal, DKB and Lilwin all showed their support for Obour.

Big names like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Desmond Blackmore, Criss Waddle however, all have been celebrating his loss because according to them Obour was involved in a lot of corrupt practices while he was president of MUSIGA. They expressed their joy that he has not been giving the opportunity to carry on his practices into politics.

The major premise is that since Obour failed as the head of MUSIGA he should never be allowed to go onto be a Member of Parliament.

“Pls don’t VOTE for this Guy, he’s a waste of time and a selfish person stomach Politician,”Criss Waddle has earlier said.

With all the others echoing his sentiments,it is only stating the obvious that the camp against Obour eventually has won.
