GFA Boss, Kurt Okraku Officially Begin His 4-year office madate today

Mr. Kurt Okraku is the 24th GFA President of Ghana after triumphing in the Ghana Football Association's Presidential elections.

The newly elected Ghana Association boss, Kurt Okraku officially begun his four-year office mandate today, Monday.

Kurt is the 24th President of the association following his election victory last month.

The 48-year-old takes over the mantle of the running of the Ghana Football Association from a Normalization Committee put in place by FIFA last year.

The order of the Normalizations Committee ended on Sunday to pave way for the bank roller of Dreams FC to assume the reign of power.

"I am really humbled for this unique opportunity," Okraku said at the time of his election victory.

"It is time for us to work, look into the future with hope and build a solid foundation."

Kurt Okraku takes over at a sensitive time for Ghana football and will be required to turn the screws in his favor over the four-year period.

Restoring trust and confidence among football loving fans and co-operate bodies will be central to his `game-changing` theme.

The Dreams FC owner, Okraku served on the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association under Kwesi Nyantekyi and was previously Communications and Marketing manager of Accra Hearts of Oak after graduating from the University of Liverpool with an MBA in football administration.
