Clad in their white free SHS uniform, beneficiaries in the Ashanti Region begun the walk from the Center for National Culture through the principal streets of Kumasi and ended at the Rattray Park with dancing and singing.

Students expressed sincere gratitude to the government for the life-transforming decision and prayed for an extension of office for the President of Ghana. They promised to campaign massively for the incumbent government to win big and do more.

“The free SHS has been beneficial to all Ghanaians. Most of our parents who could not afford school fees some time ago have had the privilege to see their wards complete school due to the free SHS policy. It is a great achievement for us all. Nana Addo must be allowed to do more and it’s our interest to campaign for him for another term,” Benewaa Bonsu said.

“Majority of us would have been school dropout had it not been Nana Addo’s free education policy. I am part of the beneficiaries and I ask for God’s blessings towards the president for more ideas and wisdom. What he’s done has not been achieved by any past government and my vote belongs to him,” another added.
