Nigerian veteran singer, Lanre Dabiri, fondly known by his stage name Eldee has taken to social media to cautioned Fireboy Dml to work more on his looks/ facial identity so that his career will not end just like his own.

He disclosed that not having a recognizable identity is one of the reasons his career did not last in the Industry

He emphasized that a lot of people know his music, name and even his brand "Trybemen" but they didn't know his face and that really affect his career.

He added that other music acts like Remedies and Plantation boiz had an edge over him as they were more visible. He explained that a lot of potentials are lost when a brand is unrecognizable especially in this era of information.

His words: "If you're not visible or people can't recognized your face, It will be difficult for you to sign or partner any endorsement deals".

 

 

Eldee gave this Advice following Oyemykke's controversial statement about Fireboy looks.

Oyemykke posted a video via his Instagram page and it caused a lot of mixed reaction from music lovers. In the video he revealed that He only know Fireboy music but he can't recognize who Fireboy is.

 

 

He stressed that, Fireboy is not always visible in his music videos. He went on to advised his record label as well as his video directors to do more to bring his identity out.

He explained that dreads is common among Nigerian artistes both upcoming and superstars. 

He then urged the singer to work on his facial identity, he said maybe he should change his hairstyle or just look for something unique that will differentiate him from other Artistes.
