Fabinho is set to return to action after the international break on November 10, the Daily Mail reports.

The set time means Fabinho will not be available for the Reds three fixtures against West Ham on Saturday, Atalanta in the Champions League and Manchester City at Anfield on November 8.

He joins the Red’s list of injured defenders of Joel Matip, Kostas Tsimikas and Virgil van Dijk, whose absence has demanded Liverpool to bring in a centre back in January to defend their Premier League title.

The Brazilian was withdrawn in the early stage of the Reds 2-0 win over FC Midtjylland at Anfield on Tuesday night.

Daily Mail further revealed the results of a scan on Wednesday morning showed a grade-one or grade-two tear – making it a minor issue. A grade-three tear would have ruled the versatile Brazilian out for up to six months.

The club is looking for the return of Matip following the assurance of Klopp before the Sheffield game when asked whether Matip, Keita and Thiago could be featured.

“Look, in my situation, I don’t want to rule anybody out until someone tells me and so far, nobody told me. Maybe I should have listened better!” he said in the pre-match.

“But for me, everybody apart from the three I mentioned are in contention until somebody tells me different.”

Liverpool have young Rhys Williams as an option. He took over the spot of Matip after he was withdrawn and decently utilized his given mandate to keep a clean sheet in the game.
