Liverpool have made it fifteen Premier League wins in a row against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds are still the only unbeaten side in English League after six games with 15 points; five points difference between them and Manchester City.

Mason Mount and N’Golo Kante both passed fitness tests to start; Kante’s first appearance for four games after an ankle problem. Lampard after playing three centre-backs against Wolves reverted to a flat four.

Jurgen Klopp made two changes; Roberto Firmino came back into the starting XI, along with Jordan Henderson, who replaced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Both teams dominated the midfield with cautious passing with nothing to hurt each other. Liverpool threatended the hosts through Captain Jordan Henderson. The Englishman spotted Mane with a whipped cross-field ball that caused Azpilicueta to slide in to poke it away from attacker. One of many clearances he's likely to make this afternoon. The Reds kept knocking for the opener and then, s big chance presented itself. Mane drew the foul of Christensen right on the edge of the box. Salah, Alexander Arnold and Henderson eyed it up but it was dead centre about 19 yards out.

Finally, Trent Arnold Alexander struck for the League leaders through a rehearsed free kick in the 14-minute. Salah shifted the ball to the side for Alexander-Arnold to have a clean shot at the top corner. He caught it supremely well straight into the net to register His first goal since November 2018.

Chelsea were forced to make an early substitution. Alonso came on for the injured Emerson.

The Blues had a goal disallowed in the 27-minute by VAR. Mount charged down the left and found Willian inside the area. His cut back was half-cleared by Fabinho but only to Azpilicueta, who bundled the ball home and charged off to celebrate. The technology discovered an offside by Mason Mount in the build up.

Two minutes later, Liverpool doubled the lead through Roberto Firmino’s header. Wijnaldum was fouled at the right side of the box and was awarded with a freekick. Robertson swung in a delicious ball from the left and Firmino was unmarked in the middle to hit home.

Salah almost added a third in the 38-minute to grasp the game at the Stamford Bridge. Salah exploded into life on the counter attack and caught inside the far corner. It looked likely as the destination for his shot but Christensen made a fine block.

Kante responded by a goal in the 71-minute to ease their deficit.

The Frenchman picked the ball up about 35 yards out and jinked his way through three tackles before sending an arrow-like shot straight into the top corner.  Batsuayi replaced Abraham in the 75-minute. The Blues pressed Liverpool to go even. A Jason Mount's ball found Alonso in so much space. He headed one towards the near post but Adrian made a strong stop. Alonso had so much space because he was in fact offside.

After three minutes of additional time, the game finished on behalf of Liverpool to keep the winning machine rolling.

According to Trent Arnold Alexander, the win was part of their game plan to resurrect from Napoli’s defeat and send a message to the other teams.

“It’s a massive win – we’ve tried to execute a game plan in order to bounce back from midweek.

“It shows what kind of side we area. We’ve won all different types of games. 18 out of 18 points is massive".
