England supporters have been involved in violent clashes with local police in Prague, with at least one injured and around 10 arrested.

The ugly scenes erupted just before 7pm local time when some Three Lions fans began throwing bottles towards armed officers in riot gear.

Czech Police according to Sky Sports says a total of 31 arrests have been made after clashes in Prague.

Police said 14 of the 31 are foreigners; spokesman Jan Danek said fans of both teams were among those detained after police intervened following incidents in two bars in Prague.

Czech and English fans attacked each other in one bar, while fans were throwing glasses and attacked police in the other, Danek said.

A recorded warning was played in English before the Czech police advanced on the fans, who had taken over a small square in the city's Old Town.

Stun grenades were fired by police as fans were forced back through a small archway as bottles continued to be thrown.
