Jadon Sancho’s future would be decided next month according to Ruhr Nachrichten in Germany.

The 20-year old has been long attached to Manchester United but his asking price of €120m (£108.6m) has been the perimeter avoiding an agreement to be reached.

Sky Sports last week reported that the Red Devils are trying to structure a deal for the 20-year old that would satisfy both parties.

The coronavirus halt has affected clubs' finances and the price value of Dortmund seems demanding for the Premier League club to meet with Liverpool, Chelsea, and Real Madrid having pull out earlier.

The German Newspaper reported that Borussia Dortmund are keen to prevent a transfer saga overshadowing their preparations for next season hence a deadline to ensure that the English club meets the closing date for Sancho.

Manchester City was earlier speculated to be interested in their former academy player but Pep Guardiola was quick to deny the reports and expressed City’s stand on the player’s transfer.

"No, no, no. He decided to leave. Why should he decide to come back?” Guardiola enquired.

"We wanted him to stay like Eric Garcia and Phil (Foden) but he decided like Leroy now and myself, when I decided to move to other countries to be a manager, to move.

"When he decided to move to Dortmund it's not because he is going to decide to come back one year later. It would make no sense. He didn't want to be here, so that is why I think he doesn't want to come back here."
