Borussia Dortmund are planning life without Jadon Sancho following United’s strong link to the winger.

The 20-year old has a £120m activation clause included in his current contract which runs out in 2022 and the English club, reported by Sky Sports are in a position of structuring a deal that would satisfy both parties for a deal of  £70m to be accepted.

Sports director for the Bundesliga club, Michael Zorc has spoken on the need for Dortmund to strengthen their attack in case the former Manchester City academy player leaves. The Bundesliga club demands at least £100m from Manchester United and clubs interested in the foward.

"If Jadon were to leave, we would once again be active in strengthening our attack," sports director Michael Zorc told Kicker. "There are certainly one or two players we have our sights on."

Ruhr Nachrichten in Germany reported on Tuesday that Sancho’s future would be decided by the close of August to prevent a transfer saga overshadowing preparations for next season.

Money made from Sancho’s sale will help boost the finances of Dortmund ahead of next season after the coronavirus hit on the finances of European clubs due to three months of inactive football events.

It is likely that an attacking player would be acquired using the sales of Sancho to support purchase.
