Ghanaian gospel singer, Melody Frimpong has admonished teachers to stop molesting the kids sent into their care at will.

The singer emphasized that teachers of late take out the frustrations of their own personal lives in the innocent kids instead or sticking solely to their main responsibility of educating the children.

She pointed out that, although there is a place for discipline in schools curriculum but there should never be a place for molestation, as it does not help the children in any way going forward. She stated that the sole purpose of bringing a child to the school system is to get the child educated so they can make better lives for themselves and the people around them when they grow up, that nobody brings their child to a school to be molested.

The school is for education and not for molestation. When you’re about to engage in that act, ask yourself if you would be happy if someone did that to your child,” she singer made these assertions during an interview on Happy FM’s Nsem Pii, with Pastor Nyansa Boakwa.

She advised the teachers to think carefully about their actions going forwards as littlest of actions tend to produce the largest effects especially in lithe little ones. Melody pointed out that the consequences that come with molestation may not be seen now but always catches up with victims later.
