Covid-19: Ghana’s Death Toll Rises to 66, as Case Count Spikes to 12,590

The death toll of the covid-19 disease in Ghana has increased to 66 as 8 more persons succumb to the disease.

This was confirmed by the Ghana Health Service via its website for Covid-19 updates today [June 17, 2020]

The total case count of the virulent disease in the country has also risen to 12,590 after 397 new cases were confirmed.

The recovery count of the disease has risen to 4,410, bringing the active covid-19 cases in Ghana to 8,114.

Of the active cases, there are currently 13 persons in severe condition and four in a critical condition.
