Ghana’s COVID-19 cases has risen to 68.

The numbers keep climbing as informed by the Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah during Tuesday morning press briefing.

As at March 24, 2020, the confirmed cases of coronavirus were fifty-three with two deaths. An addition of fifteen cases have been further provided hitting Ghana’s number to 68.

 

 

Hon. Kojo Nkrumah revealed that the case theory means, there has to be a rise of cases of affected people before declining stage therefore Ghanaians should not fear but continue to abide by the preventive measures put in place by the Ministry of Health

Nana Addo Dakwah Akufo-Addo in his address on Saturday, March 21, 2020, pleaded with Ghanaians to pray whilst adhering to the measures outlined to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

“Whilst we continue to adhere to these measures and ramp up our efforts to defeat this virus, I urge all of us also to seek the face of the Almighty. So on Wednesday, 25th March 2020, I appeal to all Ghanaians – Christians and Muslims to observe a national day of fasting and prayer. Let us pray to God to protect our nation and save us from this pandemic,” he said.
