COVID-19: Ghana’s Case Count Rises to 26,125

Ghana’s cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has increased by 695 to 26,125.

The recovery count of the disease has also increased to 22,270.

The country’s COVID-19 death toll remained at 139.

The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Kumah Aboagye announced the recent update at a press briefing today, July 16.

He however noted that, the figures are based on data gathered as of July 13, 2020.

Per the data, the Greater Accra region continues to lead with over 14,000 of the total cases confirmed in the country followed by the Ashanti and Western Regions.

Ghana has so far conducted a total of 339,491 tests.
