COVID-19: Ghana’s Case Count Rise to 23,834; Death toll now 135
Five of the latest deaths were persons with underlying conditions
Ghana’s case count of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has increased by 371 to 23,834.
Per the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service (GHS), six more persons have also succumbed to the disease, pushing the death toll to 135.
The GHS indicated that, five of the latest deaths were people with underlying conditions. However, one person in the Northern Region died of no known underlying medical conditions.

Meanwhile, the GHS has announced that so far, 19,212 patients have recovered and been discharged.
This brings the country’s active COVID-19 cases to 4,487.
