Covid-19: Ghana’s Case Count Now 14,514 with 10,473 Recoveries
Death toll remain at 85
Ghana’s Covid-19 case count, has risen by 147 to 14,154, the president, Nana Akufo-Addo has announced.
This new development comes few hours after the Ghana Health Service (GHS) confirmed 290 cases.
The President, who made this known in a nationwide televised address today [June 21, 2020] noted that the death toll and recovery count remain at 85 and 10,473 respectively.
“As at Saturday, 20th June, the total number of positives, cumulatively, stands at 14,154, out of the 270,300 tests conducted. Under the revised policy, 5,925 persons have recovered and been discharged. This brings the total number of recoveries to 10,473. The number of active cases 3,596”, Nana Addo indicated.
