The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ghana has reached 3,871.

COVID-19: Ghana Records 488 new cases; Tally now 27,060 with 145 Deaths

Ghana’s COVID-19 case count as of July 19, has increased to 27,060 after 488 more persons tested positive for the virulent disease.

According to recent update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS), the new cases were from samples that were taken from the period 22 June to 14 July 2020.

The recovery count of the disease has also spiked to 23,044, with death toll pegged at 145.

This brings the active COVID-19 cases in Ghana to at 3,871.

From the active cases, 25 persons are in severe conditions while 8 are in critical conditions.

GHS further notes that 4 other persons who have tested positive for the virus are on ventilators
