COVID-19: 97 Health Workers affected in the Ashanti Region

The Ashanti Regional Health Directorate has confirmed that 97 Health Workers in the Ashanti Region have contracted the novel COVID-19 as of Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
One death has been recorded among the 97 with 14 recoveries whiles active cases according to the Directorate stand at 82.

Kumasi leads the chart with 67 cases trailed by Obuasi with 12. Oforikrom is third with six whiles Ejisu and Sekyere South have recorded three cases each.
Ghana has so far recorded 12, 193 coronavirus cases as of Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The number of death is 58 with 4,326 active cases.
