Ghanaian artiste, Mzbel, has emphatically stated that she cannot be a lesbian as she considers it a disability.

She said this while addressing rumors that she is a relationship with the singer, Iona. The rumours started flying around with her recent beef with Tracy Boakye when the latter accused her of being in a romantic affair with Iona because she always appears in Mzbel's videos on Instagram.

This accusation started a wave on social media where Ghanaians started to root out proof that the singer has been engaging in sexual activities with people of her own sex. Mzbel has now quashed the rumors on her Facebook page, where she revealed that she considers being attracted to the same sex a disability.

“I am not a lesbian. I have never been and Iona and I are not partners. I don’t have anything against lesbianism.

“I feel gay and lesbianism is some kind of disability. If you give birth to a child with a crooked leg, you’ll definitely go for a surgery to correct the defect. The same applies to men who feel they should be born women and they become transgenders."

“i don’t have anything against anyone who chooses to do with their life as they please,” she concluded
