Bayern Munich is waiting on Thiago’s final decision before they take action on replacing the midfielder.

The former Barcelona player was the swivel of the Bavarians midfield and his effort was recognized much in the Champions League final against a premeditated Paris Saint Germain side in Portugal.

 

 

The 29-year old located his passes decently, distributing them for relevance on the night where Kinsley Coman’s second-half goal separated the two sides, enabling Bayern to win their 6th European Cup trophy and their second treble.

Bayern’s coach, Hans-Dieter Flick after the game in an interview joked that the midfielder has decided to stay before admitting they're still not sure if he is going to be at the club next season.

Liverpool have already made enquiries about the 29-year old who rejected a contract extension by Bayern earlier to make a move to the Premier League.

A price difference of 10 million was reported to be the difference between Liverpool’s offer and Bayern’s request and an agreement is expected to be reached between both clubs to enable the move to be official.

Liverpool will take on Arsenal in the Community  Shield on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Wembley before resuming the Premier League campaign against Leeds United at Anfield on September 12.
