Ghanaian artiste, Asem, has emphatically stated that Nana Akufo-Addo has been the best thing that has happened to the country since Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

He joins a host of other celebrities including Shatta Wale, Afia Schwar, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, who have been calling for another 4-year term in office for the incumbent President.

Asem took to his Twitter to praise Akufo-Addo for his achievements since he rose to power. He stated that although he has little knowledge on matters of politics, he knows Akufo-Addo is the best thing for Ghana from the things he has seen. 

"I’m not a politician nor do I endorse any political party, but I care about the well being of that town and I can confidently say Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo is the best thing that has happened since Kwame Nkrumah.I pray God gives him wisdom and vision."

Asem released his first official single “Give me blow” whiles he was still in journalism school on his first project “Better Late Than Never”. Songs featured on the project like “Pigaro” raved great reviews and got spins on several radio stations including BBC 1 extra.

"Asem has released two more projects after that “Solid Ground” which included songs like “No More Kpayor” and “Tough Times Don't Last ” with “Bye Bye”.

Asem has shared the stage with acts such as Rick Ross, Omarion, Fat Joe, Ja Rule just to name a few.
