Aisha Buhari Donates Food Items, Others To Kano State
Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari donated Personal Protective Equipment, medical consumables, as well as a variety of food items to the Kano State Government.

Aisha, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), medical consumables and assorted food items to Kano State.
She presented the items to the state government through her Special Adviser (SA) on Administration, Hadi Uba.
The SA said the items were meant for about 500,000 households across the state to cushion the effect of the lockdown in the fight against COVID-19 spread.
He said; "Today, through the Get Involved initiative of my @futureassured program, 16 trucks of food items, essential commodities and medications were donated for the benefit of the good people of Kano state.
"The items for distribution include Rice, Flour, Spaghetti, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Milk, Tea, Bathing soaps, washing soaps, foot wears, pain killers , Antibiotics, Anti Hypertensive Medications, Multivitamins, oral Diabetic medications and intravenous dextrose saline fluids.

"Over 700,000 units of Personal Protective Equipments were also donated to the Kano state government through the Kano State Covid 19 response team.
Also included were 10 pieces of automatic dispensers, among other medical items.
