13 Dismissed Students to continue with WASSCE Exams

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has granted permission to the 14 dismissed students to continue with their final exams.

This follows request by President Akufo-Addo to GES, to water-down the severity of the 14 students’ punishment, by allowing them to take their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The GES dismissed the 14 students in connection to recent acts of indiscipline and vandalism recorded during the conduct of the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

GES said even though the students have been pardoned to write their final exams, they are dismissed from school and are to leave the various compounds immediately.
